 | Before you vote in the upcoming elections, ask yourself: "Has my community improved in the last two, four, or even fifty years?" I have lived in Kalihi all my life and I am appalled to say that our neighborhoods have not improved. Crime is a major issue the has only increased. As a member of the Kalihi-Palama Neighborhood Board, I have consistently listen to residents voice their frustration; yet, very often, the people we elect to represent our community were not there. How can their be progress in this community when our officials neglect the concerns of its residents? |
| My experience working for Rep. Ben Cabreros has taught me humility and to take a stand for my neighbors. Furthermore, working in the District Court of the First Circuit, has educated me that every opinion counts and that the rights of every person should be preserved no matter the cost. As your next representative, I am willing to listen to the concerns of the community, as I have already done as an outspoken member of the Kalihi-Palama Neighborhood Board. I will make every effort to satisfactorily address the concerns of the community as they are brought forth by the neighborhood board and the citizen alike. It is my strong belief that you are entitled to a moment of my time since you will vote for me to represent you for two years at a time. |
